In the fictional Irish town of Spindlewood, a master Clockmaker, Abraham Reed, builds a clockwork girl named Constance. Impossibly, she comes to life! Abraham gives her plenty of stories to read but forbids her leaving the house. However, the curious Constance ventures out to find a story of her own. As she experiences the world and even falls in love, one question grows: can someone like Constance ever truly belong?
