Tales of the Artisan

New! World Premiere!Tales of the Artisan is a new musical written and composed by the writing team of Matt Moore and Cate Murray. A heartwarming, gripping, sometimes whimsical but always moving story of a small Scots/Irish Gaelic family with a powerful secret fleeing political persecution in 1814 America, “Tales of the Artisan” transports the viewers to a secret world of magic, wonder and intrigue. Part coming-of-age story, part action thriller and part homage to the incredible connection of family, the musical features an evolution of early American music, beginning with its roots in Scotch/Irish culture and exploring aspects of early folk. The score is full of lush blends, big dance numbers, magic effects and features a small on-stage orchestra comprised of the primary characters.
